This year’s Brisbane Indesign kicks off with a fashion-focused street party as we launch the inaugural Up Late in Design event.
February 23rd, 2012
Thursday 24 May will see the first-ever Up Late in Design, an after-dark street party bringing together fashion, interior design, architecture, culture, art, lighting, music, food and entertainment.
A new component in the line up of festivities surrounding Brisbane Indesign, the event is a celebration of design in its many forms, with a special focus on the fashion industry and its place in Australian design.
James Street in Fortitude Valley will come alive as showrooms and fashion boutiques spruce up their spaces and open their doors to the design-savvy public. Teams of architects, fashion designers and other creatives will collaborate to create art installations, outdoor cafés and pop-up bars, creating a vibrant immersive environment engaging all the senses.
Stay tuned in the lead up as we reveal our exciting line-up of participants – and come join the party on May 24!
