The 5th Annual Best of Year Awards were held in New York City on 2 December 2010, with Best Retail going to Dreamtime Australia Design for Sydney’s Victor Churchill Fine Family Butcher.
Victor Churchill and Vic’s Premium Quality Meat CEO Anthony Puharich and his father, Vic’s Meat founder Vic Puharich, were thrilled to collect the award at the ceremony at NYC’s IAC building.
“I am still overwhelmed that a butcher shop in Woollahra has beaten some of the biggest and best in the world to win Best in Retail,” said Anthony.
Michael McCann, Director of Dreamtime Australia Design, was also delighted at the win. “It truly is an honour to receive this prestigious worldwide design award, especially for a small Australian based company,” he said.
