IndesignTV heads to downtown Milan to take a look at curated collections and creative installations a day before the fairgrounds open.
April 9th, 2014
While workmen frantically labour to finish the fairground stands, a number of showrooms across Milan hosted press previews and product launches, stealing a march on the competition.
First up we visited Axor with their intriguing play on the importance of connecting with the dynamic, physical dimension of water in their ‘The Vitality of Water’ showcase. Next we saw Cassina, whose numerous collaborations spoke to the diversity and adaptability of the brand. B&B Italia presented a characteristically refined offering in their abundant showroom, a particular highlight being the outdoor collection, including product by Patricia Urquiola. And last, but most certainly not least for our first day, Lasvit presented some extraordinary kinetic lighting product, taking dynamic illumination to a new level.
