Gary Power was a respected architect and good friend to those that knew him
February 14th, 2020
It is with great sadness that we announce that admired and accomplished architect Gary Power passed away this weekend (9th of February).
Gary held over twenty-five years of experience in delivering major projects for Australia, the UK and Europe. He held Director level positions at some of the world’s most successful architectural practices including Woods Bagot, RMJM and Zaha Hadid and more recently working for the ACT Government and GHD in Canberra. Gary had a hand in some of the most significant projects in the last 20 years such as the MASDAR City and Capital Gate developments in Abu Dhabi and the MLC Centre redevelopment in Sydney.
Gary was described as a good friend, always quick with a laugh, and always great company. Above all, Gary was an amazing and supportive father. He loved his 5 children and wife Lucy very much.
