Exhibition New Views 2 in Melbourne questions the future of graphic design.
November 26th, 2008
Where does the future of graphic design lie? Australians are now one step closer to the answer, with a new exhibition at the Melbourne Museum.
New Views 2 previously featured in London, and is the result of an international call-out for graphic design posters. Through these posters, the exhibition addresses important issues facing designers today, from sustainability to education and new technology.
“The variety and range of work on show will surprise and inspire graphic design students, professionals and the general public,” organiser Laurene Vaughan from RMIT said.
The exhibition features a mix of entries from over 40 international practitioners, including renowned designers, students and emerging artists. The Melbourne exhibition was arranged in collaboration with RMIT and the London College of Communication.
New Views 2 runs until 15 February 2009 at the Melbourne Museum.
