Your Future Home is an educational initiative of Australian Living, a sustainable building consultancy, who specialise in the creation of sustainable homes. The team behind Your Future Home strive to increase the awareness of sustainable homes and provide education for industry and the community.
Overall Winner: Azuba
This commercial project, created by Azuba for Mortgage Ezy, was a devoted exploration to create a safe, non-toxic environment that people, could feel nourished and flourish while at work.
Children’s Room Winner: Sabi
Sabi Style were asked to convert a home office overlooking the bushland of Mount Coot-tha into a child’s nursery, which had minimal impact on the environment, and was a healthy space free of chemicals.
Dining Room Winner: Debra Cronin
Debra Cronin created a dining room space which looked timeless and effortless, but a lot of effort went into using products which were upcycled.
In its inaugural year, the Your Future Home Green Interior Awards drew an inspiring selection of projects that demonstrated the breadth of green thinking in local design processes.
