The relationship between Swedish woven flooring company Bolon and the Italian fashion family Missoni has precipitated some bold, creative flooring collections over the years. The latest releases bring a particularly cheerful dose of colour.
Two new patterns have been revealed. One of them is Trinidad – a vibrant striped pattern familiar from one of Missoni Home’s rug designs. The other is Fireworks – a strong graphic pattern with a flowing gradient, which was inspired by one of Missoni Home’s signature fabrics.
“The 2019 collection is an eye-catching explosion of colours that will suit any interior project with a one-of-a-kind desire,” says Annica Eklund, Bolon’s Chief Creative Officer.
Additionally, Bolon’s classic Zigzag design is now available in three new colours: turquoise, green and red. Flame has been released in a pineapple hue, and Flame Patch is now available in three new colourways: lagoon, wood and black.
All designs are available from the roll except Flame Patch, which comes in 50 x 50cm tiles.
Says Rosita Missoni, “The novelties for 2019, such as the multicoloured Trinidad and black-and-white Fireworks inspired by the space-dyed fabrics of Missoni Home, offer additional unique touches to a collection that reflects the distinctive characteristics of Missoni.”
The collection is made in Sweden, contains recycled material, is easy to maintain, has a high-performance classification (33 Heavy Commercial) and a 15-year warranty.
In Singapore, Bolon is available through The Andrews Group Asia at Xtra.
