Since 2001, Space Matrix has grown into a global firm with over 450 staff spread across 15 locations. To support the company’s accelerated growth and strengthen its service delivery to global clients, the company has welcomed a new Director Design for its Singapore office and a new Creative Director for its Hong Kong office.
A graduate of London’s Royal College of Art, Paul Rundle brings with him over 24 years of international working experience to Space Matrix Singapore. As the studio’s new Director Design, Rundle is responsible for the overall performance of the studio related to design, quality, and client and financial metrics.
Having worked in London, Barcelona, Rome, Macau, Beijing, Shanghai and Singapore for reputable studios the likes of Gensler and HBA, Rundle brings with him exceptional skills in interior design, project management and studio management across various design disciplines.
“I believe that [Space Matrix’s] emphasis on design creativity and a customer-centric approach will enable me to design and build the best workplace projects in Southeast Asia,” says Rundle.
As Space Matrix Hong Kong studio’s new Creative Director, Johan Cammareri brings with him eight years of experience in corporate office and retail design. Having lived and worked in Europe and Asia, Cammareri draws inspiration from his multicultural experience. Prior to joining Space Matrix, he worked for M Moser and Woods Bagot Hong Kong.
Cammaneri’s responsibility as Creative Director includes scaling client engagements and developing innovative concepts for workplace interior projects as well as leading the design team and contributing to the talent acquisition process.
“I am excited to bring a fresh perspective to the Hong Kong team and look forward to supporting the brand across the region,” says Cammaneri.
