Who Can I Meet at SGID17?

From an innovative Google-approved design studio (hello, Luxxbox Tingle stools!) to a master of minimalist lighting systems, we give you the lowdown on some of the brands that you will discover at Singapore Indesign 2017.

Its products aren’t only good looking but incredibly clever, too. The Australia- and US-based design studio will present furniture from its innovative ThinkLab range (the Wallie rollaway storage stool and the slim, sound-blocking ThoughtWalls will be shown at this year’s Singapore Indesign, if you must know!), which has garnered lots of praise for its innate ability to help people connect and collaborate effectively amid the bustle of a busy modern-day office.

Simple and unobtrusive in looks and feels, the Belgian company’s lighting systems never ever seem out of place, and that’s because it is a pro at reducing its appliances into pure, basic forms. Kreon’s design codes are based on right angles and straight lines, and its principle is to never create for architecture, but around architecture.

Louis Poulsen

With a goal to create the right light for the right place and time of day, Louis Poulsen, whose pool of design collaborators include Oki Sato, Louise Campbell and the late Poul Henningsen, has catapulted itself to the very forefront of spatial lighting in the world market. The Danish company offers an incredibly diverse range for both commercial and domestic needs – all in line with its “design to shape light” philosophy.

Dekton Kitchen Europea - Manhattan

The brain behind top quality and technologically advanced surfaces such as Silestone – the world’s first made from quartz – Dekton and Sensa, the leading Spanish family-owned company imagines and anticipates design solutions that offer value and, more importantly, inspiration to people’s lives. Today, the global brand boasts an impressive presence in 32 countries and distributes its products and brands in over 80 countries.

Are you as excited as we are? We will be revealing the full list of exhibitors really soon – so watch this space!
