These days we strive to care for our minds and bodies and the shortlist for The Health and Wellbeing Space at the 2023 INDE.Awards are proof positive of this idea.
With 12 exceptional projects presented in the category this year, it is obvious that wellbeing is front and centre for everyone as yoga studios and spas, hot springs and hospitals raise the bar on design, form and function. Sophistication in both material and colour palettes in each project creates an environment of respite and relaxation. Most project interiors are minimal and pared back, while others are unique in their luxurious appointments.
Sustainability initiatives are incorporated whether through water, solar or local products and workmanship, and each project is sensitively designed for culture and place.
The 12 shortlisted projects in The Health & Wellbeing category for the 2023 INDE.Awards are,
Akmē by Biasol Studio, Australia
Alba Thermal Springs & Spa by Hayball in collaboration with MALA Landscape Architecture and Urban Design, Australia

With the shortlist in The Health and Wellbeing Space, we are assured that wellbeing is on the agenda and uppermost in the minds of everyone. Beautiful projects that provide places in which people can rest and revive are here to stay and this year the architecture and design scales new heights of creativity.
