Design, taste and botanical wonder converge at Lamitak’s unique exhibition curated in collaboration with PPP Coffee x Morning and Soilboy.
September 13th, 2023
Following a successful showcase of its Vol. 1 Intervention collection of high-pressure laminates at the inaugural edition of FIND – Design Fair in 2022, Lamitak is returning to the trade fair this year with a unique exhibition titled, A Reunion of Us – A Notion of Slow Living with Lamitak. Not only does it serve as a continuation of last year’s installation, but it is also set to bring attendees along a daring journey into intentional living and immersive design.

Taking place at MBS Sands Expo & Convention Centre from 21st to 23rd September, the exhibition is a curation born from Lamitak’s collaboration with two local design makers – PPP Coffee x Morning and Soilboy – to curate a unique communal space that embodies the essence of slow living, integrating both Japanese and Scandinavian design philosophies.
PPP Coffee x Morning is known for revolutionising home coffee brewing with the Morning Machine, while Soilboy is a plant design studio that elevates living spaces with curated plants and innovative installations. Together, they aim to craft a captivating environment that seamlessly blends sensory surfaces, the beauty of nature, and the delight of a fine coffee experience. This unique collaboration promises to offer an immersive and inspiring space where individuals can gather, connect, and appreciate the harmonious fusion of design, taste, and botanical wonder.

The exhibition speaks to something deeper than a new presentation of the luxury surfacing that we all know and love. Lamitak believes that intentionality and serenity are at the core of space creation. A Reunion of Us – A Notion of Slow Living With Lamitak takes this philosophy a step further, presenting a curated selection of organic and natural materials such as wood, stone, and paper, which invoke a soothing ambiance. The mesmerising book-matched marble showcase, which will be a centrepiece at the booth, captures the timeless elegance of Lamitak’s Carrara and Nero, reintroducing nature’s beauty into everyday surfaces.
Lamitak’s dedication to sustainable practices shines through in its diverse range of eco-friendly surfaces, which contribute to the health of forests and the cultivation of a greener tomorrow. This dedication to intentionality, tranquillity, and sustainability aligns perfectly with the regenerative theme of this year’s event.
