The INDE.Awards‘ Best of the Decade | The Living Space and Best of the Decade | The Work Space categories mark the start of a new decade – and the twentieth anniversary of Indesign Media Asia Pacific – by celebrating a decade’s worth of outstanding work by our region’s architects and designers.

These two special award categories, which are being decided by Jury and by People’s Choice, give us reason to collectively look back on how we’ve progressed in our region, and to consider where we’ll go from here. There’ll be two trophies for each of these categories on Gala night – and your input will influence who takes home INDE gold.

Our Jury has already combed through the entries and determined the Shortlists for our Best of the Decade categories – and these represent your pool of choices for the People’s Choice components. For all other award categories, you’ll need to wait until 19 May for the Shortlist announcement, so this is a unique opportunity to discover some of the studios contending for an INDE trophy in 2020!

The Fisher and Paykel Melbourne Experience Centre by Clare Cousins Architects with Fisher and Paykel Design and Alt Group has been awarded The Retail Space at the INDE.Awards 2025. As a winning project, it redefines the possibilities of retail architecture by creating an immersive, material rich environment shaped by place, culture and craft.

Enter Projects Asia and SOM Win The Influencer at the INDE.Awards 2025

Recognised as winners at the INDE.Awards 2025, Enter Projects Asia in collaboration with SOM have received The Influencer award. Their work on Terminal 2 Kempegowda International Airport Interiors redefines the aesthetics of airport design through a monumental expression of biophilia, sustainability and craftsmanship.

The University of Auckland’s Hiwa wins Sport Architecture at WAF 2025

Hiwa, the University of Auckland’s six-storey recreation centre by Warren and Mahoney with MJMA Toronto and Haumi, has taken out Sport Architecture at the 2025 World Architecture Festival. A vertical village for wellbeing and connection, the project continues its run of global accolades as a new benchmark for campus life and student experience.
