German kitchen brand SieMatic lands at W. Atelier to offer personalised kitchens that match contemporary lifestyles.
SieMatic Urban range
May 9th, 2017
The kitchen has come a long way from a purely utilitarian space placed away from sight to the centre of our domestic social life. And so have the expectations for contemporary kitchens. The kitchen needs to be more than a space to prepare food; it needs to be a place that reflects its owner’s personality and lifestyle – just like the living room.
Established in 1929 in Germany, award-winning kitchen brand SieMatic has successfully catered to this evolving demand. Now in its fifty-eighth year in the business, SieMatic has established a broad range of kitchen solutions grouped into three themed ranges – Classic, Pure and Urban.
The Classic range delights the traditionalists and those who wish combine old and new by taking elements from old-world kitchens and reinterpreting them for contemporary kitchen layouts. Moulded panels and decorative finishes are updated with glass and gloss for lightness and transparency.
The Pure range offers a minimalist design language discretely integrated into the architectural features of the home. Elements such as delicate frames and clean-cut volumes are available in a broad range of finishes, from the cool and sophisticated to the warm and homey, to provide unique solutions to the purists out there.
The Urban range caters to today’s dynamic living spaces with a mix of standalone units. The collection presents combinations of thematic opposites such as the strange and the familiar, as well as the modest and ostentatious. The signature element of this collection is the SieMatic 29 – a freestanding sideboard reinterpreted from the brand’s first kitchen buffet that was launched in 1929.
Customisation is possible, with an impressive array of options including the flexible drawer system MultiMatic that can provide up to 30 per cent more space than you’ll find in the average kitchen, a complete home entertainment system, and connections for both analogue and Bluetooth devices.
W. Atelier carries SieMatic products in Singapore. The collection will be available from W. Atelier’s new showroom at 201 Henderson Road, which will open later this year.
