Woven Image taps into clients’ needs with the launch of a brand new iPad app.
December 9th, 2009
Interior finishes distributor Woven Image has launched the latest Apple iPad app to aid the architecture and design industry.
The app is a first for commercial textile and vertical finishes, allowing a fast and attractive user interface for designers to easily search and locate specific interior finishes from Woven Images’ large database.
Products may be searched according to their finish application, colour, pattern and sustainability criteria.
Built by Sydney-based Creative Licence Digital, the app provides solutions to aid designers in the sales process as well as increase Woven Images’ breadth of customer engagement.
“Our strategy behind the Woven Image app is simple – to deliver an application that makes our clients’ and our own global sales force interaction with the brand more efficient, productive and fun,” said Jasmine Hopcraft, Marketing Manager of Woven Image.
Savvy architects and designers can use this app to create personal product preferences using the iPad’s finger touch technology.
These preferences can be saved to a colourboard, stored, printed or sent to email.
Woven Image anticipates that the app will increase its global customer base.
The app will be developed in the near future with 3D digital mapping innovations.
“We wish to evolve with our audience,” explains Hopcraft. “Build partnerships with them, making their jobs easier. This will be another good way to appeal to a new breed of young designers”.
