From Swedish design duo Massproductions comes a collection robust enough for outdoors, yet suitably stylish for indoor use.
August 10th, 2010
Formed two years ago by design collaborators Chris Martin and Magnus Elebäck, Massproductions was launched at the 2009 Stockholm Furniture Fair.
Available from Spence & Lyda, the Tio collection features powder-coated steel wire stackable chairs and tables which combine a timeless 1950s elegance with modern detailing – such as the clever looped chair legs and table supports – made possible by computer technology.
Available in white, black, dark green and red – and with tabletops in metal or laminate, Tio is both robust enough for the outdoors and stylishly scaled and finished for indoor use.
Tio meets the stringent philosophy of its designer, Chris Martin, who wanted to combine industrial production processes with a minimal use of materials without sacrificing quality and function.
Designed for longevity and versatility and with low environmental impact, the Tio collection is a significant addition to a new generation of responsibly designed products.
