Workplace comfort and wellbeing need not come at the expense of style. Scandinavian Business Seating shows how with HÅG Tribute.
With more and more isolated corner offices being swallowed up by open plans these days, the principle of all the elements in a space needing to work together is increasingly relevant. Executive chairs are typically among the bulkiest and attention-grabbing furniture items in the office. HÅG’s latest release, the new executive chair HÅG Tribute (which was unveiled at the Stockholm Furniture and Light Fair in February), challenges that stereotype. It’s one of the slimmest executive chairs around. But that by no means translates to a sacrifice in terms of comfort.
“I am passionate about how we sit and how it affects us over time,” says the creator of HÅG Tribute – Norwegian designer Svein Asbjørnsen of sapDesign. He adds, “With this chair, we have a set of new standard in uncompromising comfort. It’s about how we, as humans, are not designed to sit still. We are created to be in motion.” HÅG Tribute incorporates the signature HÅG in Balance® technology that allows the chair to continuously support the body’s movements as you transition between active and passive sitting. No fussy manual adjustments needed; it lets you get on with your tasks uninterrupted.
And HÅG Tribute offers a wealth of features. Its active upper-back technology and headrest tilt forward when you recline, giving optimal support and reducing tension on the top half of the body. Meanwhile, the S-curved back and an integrated lumbar support (adjustable via an intuitive and easy-to-reach-wheel on the lower back of the chair) take care of healthy sitting for the lower half of the body. Not forgetting the arms and feet, it also features the multifunctional HÅG TiltDown armrests that allow you to sit much closer to your desk, and ribbed footplates to encourage different sitting positions and enhance stability.
All this comes in a stylish package that evokes a distinguished air of authority. Featuring a generously padded square-cut profile atop a sturdy frame, the elegant HÅG Tribute can be customised to suit individual tastes with an extensive selection of leather and textile upholstery. A true embodiment of its name, HÅG Tribute is a tribute to design, its designer, and its users – the executives who deserve only the best.
