The Perimeter is part of the Smart Working programme which was developed by Gerry Taylor of Orangebox.
The philosophy of Smart Working arose out of his involvement with International workplace studies which demonstrated that furniture in the workplace needed to be agile as people become more mobile.
Many organisations want to evolve away from the fixed private workstation and provide flexibility and are looking to create three, maybe four scenarios versus one.
It’s about helping organisations to connect, network, collaborate and foster better team trust and identity.
The Smart Working concept leverages the full potential of the technology-enabled office that allows people to work anywhere and the trend away from individual focused work.
It encourages people to move towards a workplace that meets the needs of both a transient and fixed site workforce.
Going forward you will see a range of innovative ’Third Space’ products by Orangebox that are designed to help organisations transform their environment, whether updating a section of an existing space or as part of a new, inspirational, culture-changing workplace.
Orangebox are focused on bringing innovation to the contemporary workplace.
