Hub Furniture has launched the Italian-made and designed metal works brand Mingardo to its Sydney and Melbourne showrooms.
The debut Australian Mingardo collection ‘Designer | Faber’ showcases a contemporary range of edition hand-wrought metal designer objects for the modern home. A bike rack, tables, lamps and furniture collection has been designed by Mingardo in collaboration with a selection local and internationally recognised designers.
Hub Furniture has welcomed the exclusive new artisan collection from the renowned Italian welding house, which was first established in 2013 with a vision for crafting only the best quality furniture and accessories. Each product in ranges from the brand is hand-wrought by founder Daniele Mingardo and his highly skilled team, using a series of traditional Italian production methods, with copper, iron and brass as the base.
In a move that continues Mingardo’s ethos for artfully designed products, he and his team collaborated local and international designers such as Masanori Mori, Revesz+Tatangelo and Parisotto + Formenton to complete the ‘Designer | Faber’ collection.
Composed from an aesthetic with clean lines and classically minimalist style, Designer | Faber range of pieces are individually numbered and available through limited batches, exclusively in Australia through Hub’s Melbourne and Sydney showrooms.
“We’re very excited to introduce the Mingardo collection into our accessories stable, which we are constantly building and expanding,” says Hub’s Owner and Director, Jaci Foti-Lowe. “We’re all aware of the immensely impressive craftsmanship of Italian-made products, and Mingardo is certainly no exception. They’re not only producing top-quality wares, but also interesting and unique pieces that you won’t find elsewhere.”
The products collection comprises the Centro table, Sera free-standing and table lamps, Felice mirror, Linea bookshelf and Bi-track bicycle stand and more.
