Krost’s new Sydney home is pushing the boundaries of what we’ve come to expect from the humble design showroom.
The expansive, industrially inspired space in Sydney’s up and coming inner west boasts a truly intuitive experience, while showcasing the full breadth of Krost’s commercial and office products.
The Live Showroom
Designed by interior architect Carly Krost, the new Krost showroom cleverly weaves Krost’s office and staff spaces with interesting product displays. This way, visitors can experience Krost’s products in use, meaning a visit to the showroom can aid in properly visualising the finalised project. At Krost’s ‘living’ showroom, instead of seeing static, motionless products – visitors can see pieces in action.
The Design Studio
One of Krost’s unique capabilities is their custom build service. At the new Krost showroom, visitors can meet with Krost’s skilled design team at the Design Studio. Here, visitors can test, try and play with various materials and colour swatches, in order to build their own custom designs.
The Full Library
Unlike typical showroom displays, Krost’s large warehouse style home features the full suite, or library of products. The space shows off variety through a selection of intimate environments within the greater hall, and a dramatic mezzanine area, which also features a small auditorium for meetings and talks. There’s also a staff family style kitchen and ping pong area featuring Krost pieces and product.
Visit Krost in Sydney at 33 Ricketty Street Mascot NSW 2020. Open Weekdays, 8am to 5pm.
