Design coupled with architecture and zeitgeist – the thrilling task of PROLICHT.
November 21st, 2008
The iBOX series is a ceiling mounted spot light system by PROLICHT and is an excellent example of construction, function and aesthetic, common elements of the PROLICHT lighting ranges.
The iBOX, which demands movement, leaves a pleasing impression and has a delicate aesthetic, complemented by the contrast of powder coat finish and chrome – also available in black or white. The attention, which is drawn away from the light aperture, is balanced by the smooth, rounded edges of the clip-on frame and the chrome ring, which clasps the main body.
Track lighting is still the most flexible design option in lighting. The ease of moving fixtures from one position to another to perfectly define an object or simply to have groups of fixtures symmetrically arrayed to evenly wash a space. Track lighting is an excellent option for applications with changing demands.
Accompanying the iBOX, and in the spirit of simplicity and elegance, the iPOINT has been developed to appear graceful yet minimal whilst maintaining a high degree of lighting performance. The black or white body is beautifully contrasted with the chrome adjustable light head. The iPOINT has a number of different lamp options including new technology metal halide. This is coupled with a selection of different beam angle reflectors to ensure most design requirements can be accommodated.
Being lightweight (1100 grams), able to rotate at angles of 355° and 130° and smoothly integrate into interior design concept and space, the iPOINT and iBOX series are the perfect solution for highlighting applications. Light Project are the Australian suppliers of iPOINT and and iBOX from PROLICHT.
