Miele Australia introduces the Miele DA 5000 D Island Rangehood, a truly innovative and highly functional kitchen appliance.

Its unique design, being both elegant and practical features a sophisticated stainless steel canopy combined beautifully with a set of inset glass panels. These have a metallic silver ceramic coating, applied using a screen printing technique followed by thermal fixation.
The stainless steel canopy opens automatically as soon as the unit is switched on, increasing the width of the vapour–capture area from 12cm when closed to 31cm during extraction.
The glass touch controls represent a further sophisticated feature, with numbers and symbols that are only back-lit when the hood is in operation. When not in use the controls are discreet and inconspicuous.
Alongside the dimmable down-lighting in the canopy itself, this model features separately controllable lights in the chimney section for atmospheric mood lighting after cooking.
The fan motor features powerful double-sided suction intake, to keep the atmosphere in the kitchen comfortable, while the appliance uses three power fan settings plus an Intensive setting, which can be programmed to automatically switch-off after 10 minutes.
Further features include a brushed stainless steel chimney and safety switch-off. In addition, the unit’s four steel grease filters are dishwasher safe, making cleaning easy.
Supplied for ducted installation, the DA 5000 D Island Rangehood, with its discreet design and sophisticated features is sure to be the crowning glory of any well made kitchen. It will be available from Miele Chartered Agents for an introductory selling price of $7,499.
