Mortice & Tenon celebrate Stuart Rattle’s collection of bold and timeless designs for the office.
October 10th, 2013
Sophisticated and refined, Stuart Rattle’s new office furniture for Mortice and Tenon is all about scale and elegance.
The sleek and delicate finishes of Biblioteque and Bureau Plat Desk evoke a sense of subtle luxury, while the geometric design and fastidious approach to detail ensure practicality.
Biblioteque – Stained Walnut with leather panelling, antique bronze handles and painted glass panels. Double file drawers inside. Available in a variety of sizes and finishes.
Bureau Plat Desk – Stained Walnut with leather panelling. Also available in various sizes and finishes.
The soft shades are employed not for their intrinsic colours but for their characteristics. “The most important thing about a room is that it offers some emotion – a space where you feel a room before you look at it,” says designer Stuart Rattle. “Nothing should stand out and the room should feel as though it wraps around you.”
Whether designs are boldly inspired or carefully nuanced, Stuart is supported by a stable of skilled artisans who transform his inspirations into reality.
His custom designed furniture range was recently launched in collaboration with Mortice & Tenon.
