St Andrews house shortlisted as Wallpaper announces winners for 2008

Following up Australian accolades such as the RAIA Robin Boyd Award and the State of Design Premier’s Built Environment Prize, Sean Godsell is representing as the sole Aussie nominated for a Wallpaper Award in 2008.
The best new private house award included residential projects by a range of high profile designers around the world including the Bouroullec brothers, UN Studio and Japanese design firm TNA whose Ring house won the prize for the category.
Prize-winners were announced in January, in 9 other categories including best furniture designer, won by Tokujin Yoshioka, best city, won by Los Angeles and the most life-enhancing item award which went to Yves Behar’s $100 laptop for governments in the developing world to give out to children.
