SJB is delighted to announce the appointment of Fiona Coakley as director of SJB Architects’ Melbourne studio.
Bringing a wealth of experience to her directorial role, Fiona has an outstanding portfolio in mixed-use, hospitality, leisure and residential projects to her name.
“Over the past seven years, Fiona has been a respected and valued member of our studio, leading her teams in the delivery of high quality, significant projects throughout inner Melbourne,” says Michael Bialek, founding Director of SJB.
Working on a variety of projects across Australia, the Middle East and the Ireland, Fiona’s portfolio at SJB has seen the design and delivery of successful projects including Kings Domain, Southbank, 8 Burnley Street ‘A Place to Live’, Richmond and the award-winning residential project Camberwell Ltd, Camberwell.
Part of the new wave of SJB directors, her acumen is founded in a diversity of project experience and her collaborative approach to working with clients, key stakeholders and professional colleagues. “Working across different sectors for a great range of outcomes has taught me the importance of collaboration and working with my teams and clients to deliver excellence,” says Fiona.
Her skills, work ethic and capacity have allowed her to contribute to the ongoing strength and success of SJB. In the future, she will undoubtedly play a key role in ensuring that SJB remains a progressive, ethical company while building our reputation and cultural values.
