On Wednesday night, Veuve Clicquot celebrated the launch of their first international design competition the ‘Re-Creation Awards’ with 150 ‘Priority Mail’ guests including Adam Goodrum, Louise Olsen, Eva Galambos, Rebecca Valance, Marnie Skillings, Ann Shoebridge, Kelvin Ho, Terry Kaljo and Eleanor Pendleton.
October 24th, 2014
The distinctly postal theme was inspired by the Clicquot Mailbox and Madame Clicquot’s history of correspondence. The former Potts Point post office was transformed into the Veuve Clicquot Bureau De Poste featuring an installation of Clicquot letters and planes by paper artists Sam Gazal, a feature wall of giant Clicquot stamps, canapés served in mailboxes and edible stamps designed by catering magicians Studio Neon. Throughout the evening Clicquot postmen encouraged guests to send a postcard to creative friends around the world encouraging them to design the next Clicquot Mailbox.
For those interested in entering the Re-Creation Awards or purchasing a limited edition Clicquot Mailbox, the Veuve Clicquot Bureau De Poste will be open to the public from Thursday 23 October – Saturday 25 October (10:30AM – 6:00PM) located at the ‘POST’ building on Macleay Street Potts Point.
