Organised by Ontera, Instyle and JSB, the event raised over $30,000 for Inspire, a charity supporting kids and teens battling depression and anxiety.

Ontera/JSB/Instyle kicked off proceedings with a Footloose rendition that Kevin Bacon would be proud of.

Nine teams then took to the stage to dance for glory – Luchetti Krelle’s The Slashers, Altis Architecture’s Retrosexuals, Jaxon for Cox Interiors, HASSELL’s Hasarama, Woodhead’s Rubik’s Cubes, ThomsonAdsett Goes to Hollywood, Matt Morelli and the Siren [Design] Sistaz, Toni Basil Crew from Woods Bagot and BVN’s Very Nasty Beats.

Impressed by the smooth moves and rhythm on show, judges were unable to decide between their top two, Hasarama and the Retrosexuals and handed it over to the audience. After a heated final dance-off, Altis were crowned winners of Dance for Life 2012 for their 80s medley – including a snippet of Dirty Dancing complete with climactic lift!
