The Architecture & Design Sustainability Awards , which this year have reached the 16-year mark, are the longest and most respected national built environment substantiality award program the country has known.
It’s a fact that the Architecture & Design Sustainability Awards are not only given to projects that demonstrate a high level of sustainable design, but also to those projects that can show long-term sustainability, are accessible to all users as well as to people in the industry that have made a positive cultural, social or economic contribution to the local community.
And yes, the aesthetics matter also.
So, for all the interior designers out there, your category is:

A renovation or fit-out of the interior of an existing building where the sustainable design is involved with such factors as determining the efficient and effective use of space, selecting construction materials that offer low environmental impact and lowering pollution, waste, and the lowering of the overall energy consumption.
As the Awards bring together practitioners, commentators, suppliers, products and the wider architecture and design community, it also reinforces sustainability front and centre, as an integral component of every design – as it should always be.
The Sustainability Awards are committed to championing the design environment on every level, its scope and reach continues to grow, ensuring a field of entries that truly reflects the diversity and innovation of the industry.
In other words, if you think your project has got what it takes to be in the 2022 Sustainability Awards, then the time to enter is now!
And did we mention entry was free? Yes, free of charge, unlike many things today.
You’ll just need to contact the team at Architecture & Design magazine, and we’ll give you our secret code.
