One of the most eagerly anticipated events on the Milan Furniture Fair’s calendar is hotting up, dont miss your chance to take part
January 23rd, 2013
April marks the annual Salone del Mobile, for the fourth consecutive year the Lambrate district in Milan will uphold its title as the only wholly curated sector of the World’s largest annual design event, Ventura Lambrate: A vibrant and evocative design showcase.
Feted as one of the most vibrant elements of the Salone, Organisation in Design‘s Lambrate series has grown to become a fixture at design events right around the world. Serving to launch some of the most promising undiscovered designers and products Ventura Projects celebrate true creativity and promote design thinking, parallel to the commercial context of the trade fairs they exist within.
Recognised by industry leaders as a vital platform for emerging talent, Ventura Lambrate is presented through an organic exhibition circuit where attendees across media, professionals and design enthusiasts are challenged to look at design from a different perspective.
“I love this area” enthuses designer Jaime Hayon, “In 2011 I came for the first time and I immediately fell in love with this area… I honestly think I belong much more in this type of area than on the fair, especially because it is a place where there is much more space for research and conversation.”
Submissions for inclusion in the 2013 presentation are coming to a close, Organisation in Design, the parent body for this event urge you submit your entries for consideration. Entries close on February 8th 2013, lodge your submission here.
