Marian Hosking jewellery at Object Gallery
November 15th, 2007
A treasure trove of exquisite silver jewellery will be on show at Object Gallery’s upcoming ‘Living Treasures’ exhibition. The expo, ‘Marian Hosking: Jewellery’ will run from 10 November 2007 to 13 January 2008.
This will be the third in the ‘Living Treasures: Masters Of Australian Craft’ series, showcasing a dynamic body of work by Melbourne-based jeweller Marian Hosking.
The exhibition will showcase breathtaking silver jewellery as well as a five-metre diameter ring, cast from the circumference of a 600-year-old Eucalypt.
Object Gallery also has a busload of exhibitions touring around Australia, including Freestyle: New Australian Design For Living.
Freestyle is currently generating attention at the Art Gallery of South Australia and will commence its international tour in May next year.
