Eight selected rugs, will join Designer Rugs’ ID COLLECTION 2015/2016.

For those of you not in the know, EVOLVE is a design competition open to eligible working architects, interior designers or interior decorators. But you’d better get in quick! Entries are closing on Monday 27th July 2015.

Designer Rugs are proud to announce their third EVOLVE Awards where the eight winning entries will form part of Designer Rugs ID COLLECTION 2015/2016, and will be in the running for a whopping $20,000 in prizes, including a trip to the Salone Del Mobile, Milan 2016.
So, why do you need to get a move on? Because this year’s prize pool is NOT to be missed!

People’s Choice Award:
Prizes to the value of $1,000 RRP (Designer Rug voucher) will be awarded to both the designer of the design nominated as favourite by the People’s Choice online ballot and one lucky person who voted for that rug.
Each of the Top 25 Finalists will receive a certificate of merit.


The judging panel will consider submitted designs (received by the closing date) and rate each on the following:
Designer Rugs reserve the right to support the Judges’ decisions as final. No communication will be accepted once the Judge’s decision has been made.
Any fedback given in the judging process may be used by Designer Rugs and may be provided to the relevant entrant.
Judging is conducted anonymously, in three phases:
1. Shortlist – 100 designs selected from entries (received by the closing date).
2. Judging of top 25 designs, with the eight (8) finalist designs selected for manufacturing.
3. Private judging on event night to select the overall winner.
– Pretty sweet, huh? And on top of all that, your work will be presented to a constructively judged by some of the design industry’s most iconic heavy hitters:
