Calling all Architects, Designers and Specifiers: The 2009 CEDIA Expo is coming to Sydney with an ’OPEN’ day just for you.
March 31st, 2009
The Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) will be celebrating their 15th annual CEDIA Expo for Technology In Design™. For the first time in nine years the Expo is returning to Sydney.
Through educational programs, trade shows, publicity advertising, technical meetings and other initiatives, CEDIA members are exposed to the latest training and technology.
As part of this Expo, the association invites Architects, Designers and Specifiers to attend the CEDIA Electronics Lifestyles® Reception.
The event – held at the Expo in the Sydney Exhibition and Conference Centre in Darling Harbour, Sydney – will showcase the very latest technology solutions from the world’s best manufacturers.
This event is an opportunity for the Design and Architecture community to learn more about home automation, power efficiency audio-visual, lighting, security, home cinema and a range of other technology innovations.
The Electronic Lifestyles® Reception will not only educate, motivate and inspire, but will offer a unique opportunity to align yourself with a CEDIA member – professionals trained and accredited by the global industry body that sets the standard in custom electronic design and installation.
The event will include presentations from CEDIA Asia Pacific, CEDIA US CEO Utz Baldwin, an architect from within the Custom Installation Industry – already using the technology – and a number of other presenters still to be confirmed.
Historically a Trade only expo, this year’s Expo introduces a CEDIA ‘OPEN’ Day (Wednesday only) where architects, interior designers, builders, developers, clients and technology purists are introduced to come along to experience the products first hand.
The Expo will be open longer hours, run over 3 days – from Wednesday 15 July through to Friday 17 July – and be held at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour.
