Light is more than just light. Proper lighting enhances beauty, shapes spaces and surroundings and adds depth to the way we experience them. Light infuses us with life and happiness.
For three generations, Darø have been working to design and develop light for the interior decor of homes and workplaces, but most of all: for people. The latest step in this journey is a collection of 17 lamp series: some are brand new – and most feature powerful classic lines.
Darø’s vision has always been to design lamps which create value and arouse enthusiasm. The combination of innovative solutions, elegant finish, colours and functions yields a product of enduring value.
“We want more than just a lamp. We want to show you the light. Therefore, we are more than a design brand. DARØ is continuously developing. We design new ways of spreading the light. Our designs follow current trends and meet the needs for pleasant experiences in homes and business settings.”
-Thomas Darø, Director
The history of Darø goes back through generations of know-how and experience with what they do best – designing lamps that are built around the light source. This creates lighting with a technical high quality and with respect for the craft.
Now, Thomas Darø – the third generation of Darø – is ready to take over and lead the company in a new direction with an exciting new identity and design strategy. With Trion 35, Darø is ready to launch their first product after the generational change. After more than 20 years of development, the lamp, Trion 35, appears simple, classic and elegant. Afterwards, Darø are planning on exciting design collaborations with up-coming designers.
