In 2015, Indesign: The Event are excited to announce their plans for 2015 with a return to Sydney and Hong Kong, planning a bigger and bolder edition of the two, as well as presenting a special intimate event in Singapore.
October 22nd, 2014
Following the success of Melbourne Indesign and Singapore Indesign this year, Indesign: The Event have announced dates for 2015. Sydney Indesign will take place in August and Hong Kong Indesign in November. Mark your calendars now! And before that, Singapore will play host to a special concise edition of the anticipated event in July: Singapore Indesign Intimate.
Singapore Indesign Intimate makes its debut on 9 and 10 July, with two days of high-impact, concise and focused design experiences and insights in two locations and two formats. Red Dot Design Museum and the National Design Centre will be the locations for two curated spaces, where exhibitors will present a carefully edited mix of products for office, hospitality and residential projects.
In addition, a tailored design conference at the National Design Centre will address the issues pertinent to design in Singapore and Asia, bringing together best-in-category designers to speak on changes, challenges and opportunities in workplace, hospitality and residential design.
For Sydney, Indesign: The Event returns to its origins, and continues on its path of evolution, set to draw on the spirit of the local Architecture and Design community once again. Over the week long event, the audience can expect to be taken on a journey of discovery from rich seminars, launches from local and international brands, unique demonstrations and much more.
One of the main focuses for Sydney Indesign 2015 will be the theme of ‘WorkLife’, where the Event will explore products and topics relating to the future of the workplace. Seminars, panel discussions and workshops curated by Indesign magazine will investigate ideas around privacy, future-proofing, change management, extraverts and introverts, ABW and workstation productivity. Introduced to the Sydney event in 2013, ‘WorkLife’ will feature keynote speakers from across the architecture and design industry, all being leaders in their field. For Hong Kong Indesign, the format will remain similar, retaining everything the audience has grown to love about The Event but, says Events Manager * Tegan Schwarz, with some added extras. “We’re “re-imagining some elements, rebooting and enhancing the experience.”
