Italian brand Poliform’s development over the years has seen it grow from a small artisan shop in the 70s to an international brand whose furniture fits into the ideals of a contemporary yet luxuriously comfortable lifestyle. Its wide range, comprising systems, bookcases, complements, wardrobes, beds, sofas and armchairs, is able to furnish an entire home.
Bolton sofa
One of its popular designs is the Bolton sofa, designed by Giuseppe Viganò. True to Poliform’s trademark style, the modular seating features clean lines and plush proportions, as well as softly rounded edges that denote welcome and relaxation. The sofa’s flexible moulded polyurethane body is adjustable in heights in three positions while the seat cushions come in different densities – offering choices for different users. While the eco-leather and leather cover options are non-removable, the ones in fabric can be removed for washing.
Concorde table
Another signature piece from Poliform that also features soft formal accents is the Concorde table. Designed by Emmanuel Gallina, its shape, rounded subtly at the base frame as well as the table top edges, emphasises the naturalness of the wood. Above, a lean slab of marble gives the table an air of luxury. A key charactersitic that grants the table a modern touch is the legs at the short end that angles inwards, its geometric play adding liveliness to the whole design. The frames are available in walnut and Spessart oak while the top is availble in three matte and four glossy marble finishings.
Poliform is carried in Hong Kong by ViA.
