Gaggenau recently hosted shortlisted designers and friends to honour the inaugural Kitchen of the Year award with an intimate in-person event in its Melbourne showroom.

A select group of designers and industry friends came together in Gaggenau’s own beautiful showroom at the end of March to celebrate a successful launch of the Kitchen of the Year Awards.

With hospitality and fine dining at the heart of the Gaggenau brand, the night was centred around elegant food and drinks. Guests were treated to champagne and sumptuous canapés while mingling together within the Carr-designed interior.

The evening presented the opportunity for Gaggenau to welcome jury membersshortlisted designers and the winner of the Kitchen of the Year Awards in person – something that had not been possible when the winner was revealed in late 2021.

The Best of the Best winner – Robert Nichol & Sons – was acknowledged and presented with a special book commemorating the award programme and the field of entries.
