Gaggenau recently hosted shortlisted designers and friends to honour the inaugural Kitchen of the Year award with an intimate in-person event in its Melbourne showroom.
April 21st, 2022
A select group of designers and industry friends came together in Gaggenau’s own beautiful showroom at the end of March to celebrate a successful launch of the Kitchen of the Year Awards.
With hospitality and fine dining at the heart of the Gaggenau brand, the night was centred around elegant food and drinks. Guests were treated to champagne and sumptuous canapés while mingling together within the Carr-designed interior.
The evening presented the opportunity for Gaggenau to welcome jury members, shortlisted designers and the winner of the Kitchen of the Year Awards in person – something that had not been possible when the winner was revealed in late 2021.
The Best of the Best winner – Robert Nichol & Sons – was acknowledged and presented with a special book commemorating the award programme and the field of entries.
As part of the prize, Robert Nichol & Sons will go on an exclusive trip to Europe, including two return business airfares, seven days in Europe including one Gaggenau factory tour at Lipsheim, France; a culinary experience for two people, six nights’ accommodation in a five-star hotel and hotel transfers.
Stay tuned as the Gaggenau Kitchen of the Year Awards open for entries later in the year.
