The modern office – could there be a place where noise and mess cause more distractions? We’ve been designing open plan living spaces for years now, but sometimes the best work comes from the quiet spaces…
Modern office culture has lead to the need for agile working environments that make the most of the space we have available. There’s a lot of benefit to this, but we can’t overlook the need for quieter spaces, or the storage issues that come with these open plan offices.
This modern day dilemma is exactly what inspires Australian and US-based design firm Luxxbox the most: modern office environments that encourage collaboration but inadvertently affect productivity. The Luxxbox range includes thoughtful agile furniture, flexible whiteboards, acoustic lighting and stylish storage to combat this issue, helping you to think and collaborate to reach your creative potential.
Two such products are Luxxbox’s innovative ThoughtWalls and the newly-released Wallie, a cheeky storage solution with personality to boot!
Designed to complement contemporary office environments, ThoughtWalls are made for light bulb moments. Customise your ThoughtWalls to include write-able, pin-able or sound-absorbing surfaces available in a wide range of colours. Panels can be reconfigured on a whim to create intimate, quiet work zones when productivity is paramount, or create three or four-sided freestanding totems when you need to stop, collaborate and listen. ThoughtWalls are simple to use with interchangeable connectors to create a multitude of assemble options.
