Indian rosewood and black stainless steel combine to form a timeless new collection from Furniture Options.
August 2nd, 2011
The Craftsman Collection is created from durable Indian Rosewood, complemented by an antique black powder coated steel frame feature for seating and recycled tubular steel for tables.
Designed by Furniture Options’ Product Development Team, the Collection was made with functionality and sustainability in mind for a hospitality project called The Craftsman. The aim of the collection was to engage Australian design, utilising recyclable material as well as assisting communities in India by using their product and workmanship.
The grainy and knotty features of the wood lend an organic element to the design, highlighted through the vertical running structure.
Engineered and manufactured in India, the strength of steel and wood together provide a quality, durable product.
The Craftsman Collection range consists of dining tables, high bars, stools and benches and exclusively distributed through Furniture Options in WA, and through Prototype in NSW and QLD.
