After a brief hiatus from the spotlight, Dance For Life returned to Sydney for an epic designer showdown!
On Friday 17th March, the 2017 Dance for Life went down with over 700 stars of Sydney’s Architectural and Design industry coming together, this year in support of mental health charity Reach Out, which provides support and practical assistance for teenagaers struggling with depression, anxiety and suicide.
This year’s event was championed by local design manufacture and supply houses, Business Interiors and ThinkingWorks. The collaboration between the two saw the participation of Australia’s biggest A+D firms including: Hassell, Geyer, The Bold Collective, WMK, Woods Bagot, GroupGSA, COX Architecture, Crone x Code x Sidgreaves, Siren Design and BVN. Though all put on a hell of a performance, it was WMK with their Sia-themed routine that clinched the competition overall, with The Bold Collective taking home ‘Best Dressed’.
The “Music Idol’ themed evening was a hugely enjoyable success, having raised over $150,000 for Reach Out. If you missed this year’s Dance For Life, not to worry! Business Interiors and ThinkingWorks already have the wheels in motion, so get in touch to find out how your firm or business can participate!
Business Interiors and ThinkingWorks would like to congratulate all who participated, and thank the official Dance For Life 2017: Platinum Sponsors – Interface, Gold Sponsors – CSM and JDV Projects, Silver Sponsors – FDC, AtWork* With Camira and Tongue ‘n’ Groove.
