Designed to be mixed and matched, the new Sunbrella Shift collection fuses a set of classic fabric designs with new contemporary styles.
September 26th, 2016
The Sunbrella Shift collection is comprised of six patterns that cleverly layer texture, colour and pattern – blending traditional motifs with modern styling.
“One of the strongest trends in the market today is the use of opposing forces,” said Greg Voorhis, design director for Sunbrella. “You see old contrasted with new, light with dark, shiny with matte, natural with man-made. We considered all of these opposing forces in creating this collection, and as a whole, it can be seen how we ‘shift’ through these various elements from each pattern and colour way to the next.”
“Today’s range of yarn and fabric formation expertise places virtually no limits on the fabrics we can create,” Voorhis says. “In many ways, Shift serves as a demonstration of the range of capabilities for performance fabrics, calling upon the latest in design, research and development and manufacturing without compromising luxury and softness.”
Fabrics in the Shift Collection meet ACT standards for use in high traffic areas, which means they are suitable not only for residential indoor and outdoor applications, but also for hospitality.
