Moooi has revealed its Milan furniture fair showpiece at an exclusive launch at Space Furniture.
April 2nd, 2011
Moooi gave press and industry members a sneak preview of its new product, yet to be officially launched at Salone Internazionale de Mobile in Milan in April.
Space Furniture was lucky enough to be one of just 13 companies worldwide to gain early access to Moooi’s Milan fair showpiece.
The piece? Gothic Chair by Studio Job – a quirky, playful take on medieval tradition.
The Gothic Chair has all the hallmarks of 19th century Gothic style – a solid build, romantic elegance – but Studio Job has replaced the traditional dark solid wood of medieval furniture with a bright-coloured plastic and contrasting upholstery pins.
The result evokes childhood memories of playtime.
The chair is available in light and dark grey, blue, brown, white, yellow, red, orange, pink and green.
If you’re travelling to Milan this year for Salone de Mobile, don’t miss your chance to see the Gothic Chair up close.
