Brookfield Place is a new commercial and entertainment precinct that has transformed the Perth central business district by bringing life into an area that was neglected and void of activity.
July 5th, 2013
Designed by HASSELL and Fitzpatrick + Partners, the tower at the centre of Brookfield Place is the new home for BHP Billiton. Thousands of people stream through the area each day to work in the tower and adjacent buildings, or to eat and drink at restaurants and bars located at the base of the tower and in the restored heritage buildings.
HASSELL also designed the BHP Billiton workplace and the public realm that links the tower to the heritage buildings, successfully pulling together the old and the new.
