All proceeds from this green initiative will go to WWF Singapore.
April 4th, 2012
Last week, you read all about the ‘Green Space Heroes’ – 5 products that have been selected as champions in sustainability as part of Space’s ‘Green Space’ campaign to commemorate Earth Day in the month of April.
Now Space is also happy to announce its first ‘Adopt-A-Plant’ charity drive to be held on 12 and 13 April where all proceeds from plant sales will go to WWF Singapore.
“WWF’s mission comprises a few ‘pillars’ that are in line with the nature of our business such as climate change and forest conservation. So it was an easy selection process for us to work with WWF,” explains Jennifer Soh, senior marketing manager at Space. “We also found out that they have selected Singapore to set up base which goes to show their commitment to engage and raise the level of sophistication regarding sustainability topics locally,” says Soh, adding that this also follows Space’s “fundamental belief to act locally on an increasingly global platform”.
A good selection of plants will be available for adoption on 12 April 3pm to the end of Space’s Green Space cocktail party (9pm), and 13 April from 11am to 7pm at the Space Asia Hub. A base price of S$10 has also been set and all are encouraged to donate generously!
