It’s always interesting for us to come across people who think of things differently, offer fresh perspectives to counter what we’ve been used to. Fortunately for us, this issue of Cubes Indesign has its fair share of perspective-changing projects and conversations.
A series of origami-like terraces defines W Architects’ design of The Oliv, our cover project for Cubes Indesign Issue 67
Most significantly, W Architects navigates Singapore’s building regulations with great aplomb in The Oliv. The premium condominium interprets rules on communal decks in a most ingenious way that benefits both developer and occupants, while giving rise to a most unexpected formal expression.
Credit Suisse’s ONE@Changi City campus designed by HASSELL is a sophisticated take on agile workspaces
On the corporate front, Credit Suisse’s campus at ONE@Changi City pushes the idea of agile, collaborative workspaces to its extremes. Designed by HASSELL, the office is the result of a series of in-depth trial roll-outs and engagement with staff members.
