The stylish Duette® Architella® shades by Hunter Douglas ensure energy efficiency and child safety through innovative construction.
September 22nd, 2015
A significant amount of the home’s cooling and heating energy is often lost through the windows. This energy loss can be prevented through the use of energy-efficient shades. Enter Duette® Architella® by Hunter Douglas, a “honeycomb-within-a-honeycomb” shades offering three insulating air pockets that reduce energy loss, while providing UV protection.
With an origami-like pleated construction, the Duette® Architella® also diffuses incoming sunlight and disperses it deep into the room, reducing dependence on electrical lighting.
To enhance child or pet safety, users can opt for a range of operating systems that integrate retractable cords, a continuous cord loop with tensioner mounts or battery-operated motorisation.
The Duette® Architella® series is available in a range of light-control fabrics from sheer to opaque, with hundreds of colours and textures.
