Entries to the KE-ZU, Kenneth Cobonpue and Hive lighting competition close on 31 October 2008. The competition asks entrants to design "an ambient lamp for the darkness of tomorrow". Using current Kenneth Cobonpue and Hive lighting manufacturing materials designers are asked to create energy efficient lighting solutions for any indoor use.
Entries are open to students and professionals resident in Australia. Designs are to be submitted electronically or on paper, in CAD form, sketches, renders or computer rendering.
Get in quick for your chance to win a return trip from any Australian capital city to the Hive factory in Cebu, Philippines to see their design manufactured. The winner will also be credited for the product should it make it into regular production.
