August 5th, 2009
There seemed to be slightly more attendees compared to +Friday 2008 – now in it’s 3rd year, visitors are realising what a great opportunity it is to knock some event locations off their list and fit more in over the two days.
The day began with presentations on ‘green specifying’ at Stylecraft and lunch invitations were a-plenty, taking place at Chairbiz, Corporate Culture and Insitu. Informal afternoon cheese, nibbles and wine affairs took +Friday into the evening, with the party atmosphere kicking off at the previews to PYD Warehouse (featuring Arthur G, Ism Objects, Intermain, James Richardson, Sebel and Tait) as well as Design on Flinders (Gelosa, The Laminex Group, Hettich, Zip Heaters and Comax).
The night continued with InterfaceFLOR’s gallery opening for The Project, Botton + Gardiner launching their new stars, Maxton Fox showcasing in their showroom as well as Warehouse 625 entertaining with Dog Trumpet in their temporary space (featuring a collection of companies including Bathe, Classique, Hansgrohe, Ilve, Interstudio, Ontera, Porter’s Paints, Studio Bagno and Warwick Fabrics).
