The annual awards program, presented by the Building Designers Association of Victoria (BDAV), have added new categories this year.

The Awards, which recognise and showcase creativity and excellence in building design across a wide range of categories including residential design, interior design, heritage conservation, energy efficient design and non-residential design.
New categories introduced this year include ‘Residential Design – Best Small Lot’ and ‘Best Unbuilt Design’, while the People’s Choice Award will once again give the public the chance to vote for their favourite project.
The major award – the Building Design of the Year – will also be selected as the most outstanding submission from the category award winners.
Entry submissions for the 20th BDAV Building Design Awards close on Friday 10 April 2015.
