Collaborative and creative, this dynamic new Sydney-based duo have created a recipe for success.

Odile Chauvet and Shannon McKay are the faces and minds behind so.co creative, a fresh new interior design duo quickly making their mark on Sydney’s design scene.
Both UTS Interior Design graduates, the pair met at a large architectural practice in Sydney where they worked for 4 years before opportunities began popping up on the side.
It came to a crux when an opportunity arose to take on a hospitality project – it was a case of taking on the dream project and packing in their day jobs or turning it down altogether. They bit the bullet.
The project in question was their fit-out of Darlinghurst den Sol Sutra, which has the girl’s distinctive style, combining bold colours, cool graphics and adding warmth through textiles.
Their fearless flair made for an eclectic and bold fit-out, in which they collaborated with a local artist, collaboration being very much their raison d’être.
“so.co creative is a little play on words” says Odile, “’so’ standing for Shannon + Odile, ’co’ meaning together. Being a small business we love nothing more than to collaborate with other people with a variety of strengths, adding another level to the so.co team!”
The ‘creative’ part to the name, Odile explains, is testament to the breadth of their abilities as designers, not willing to limit themselves to just interior design or graphics.
“We see ourselves as a creative team made up of several facets of design – providing clients with a unique package to work with”.
