Queensland New Design competition finalist, Mark Heslop, continues the good work in the Sunshine State.
July 10th, 2008
Mark Heslop has had a busy year since his ‘Ryan Table’ was a finalist in the inaugural QND program at Brisbane Indesign in 2007. With a selection of contemporary furniture for the home, MH Designs is taking on commissions for clients on the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane area.
The ‘Ryan Reading Tables’, named after Mark and wife Amy’s then-newborn son, were also part of the Arc Biennial Exhibition at the QUT Museum in Brisbane last year. Following much positive feedback and interest, Heslop is now focused on getting his curvy plywood piece into production.
MH Designs also offers original artwork and home accessories from Mark’s wife Amy, who has a degree in Textile and Surface Design and specialises in knitted textiles.
